Earth or ‘Pruthvi’

The earth element is vital among the five elements that have created the human body and this universe. It is represented by a square in the geometrical design.
The ‘Muladhar chakra’ is associated with Earth element. It is the first or base chakra out of the prominent nine chakras in the human body.
The shape of this chakra is the petals and it is decorated with the four characters व, श, ष, स, in the petals. In the center 'लं' is the earth seed. Bhajan and Sadhana have their roots in this place. Hence this chakra is called ‘Muladhar chakra.’ Meditating on this Chakra results in development of abilities in writing prose, poetry, improvement in speaking, and it also ensures good health.
