Sahashtral [सहस्त्रदल]

Our brain has a network of millions of nerves. Yogis call this ‘Sahastra Dal Kamal’ or ‘Sahashtral.’ This is compared to the ‘Baindav Sthan’ in the ‘Shree Chakra.’ The flow of knowledge, desires, and action force is centered here. This energy force expands via ‘Dhyanendriya’ and ‘Karmendriya.’ The brain controls this flow of forces that enrich our lives. The brain does the work of ‘Vaindavsthan’ for the body or ‘Pinda.’ The brain is the sovereignty center or centre of ‘Param tatva’ and it is called ‘Jyotirmandal’.
Kundalini Shakti is in the form of an all-encompassing form in the universe and in the form of the individual in our body. Both have ‘Chitta Shakti.’ Saguna Brahman means Shakti. The worship of this power is an important stage in the flow from the human form to the subtle god form. To speak in the language of Sri Yantra means to move from the outer ‘Bhupura’ to the central point of ‘Shiva’. It is during this journey that the Kundalini Shakti is awakened, which lies dormant in the three-and-a-half ‘Rounds’ of the ‘Mooladhara Chakra’. In fact, this power is the unending source of human power. With this power, our salvation is possible. Worship when done with pure spirit, with immense faith; unknowingly leads to the awakening of this power. Awakening this power is the first step in the worship of the ‘Shakti Panth’ and its union with Param Shiva at the ‘Sahastra Chakra’ is the final step.
